Following from Stent.

I explained to U.N.R.R.A. why Hong Kong Government could not grant diplomatic privileges and immunities to U.N.R. R. A. staff. It now appears however that what they want are immunities for U.N.R.R.A. as a body, particularly exemption from suits [sic] and from customs (for U.N.R.R.A. goods) in accordance with Council Resolutions 32 and 34.

They would be grateful if possibility of legislation on these lines by Hong Kong Government could be explored.
